| Modifying 'Isabelle' my Accucraft 'Edrig' |
You can't really tell this feature from the outside, but I know its there !
First thing that strikes you here, aaah, the paint, it is a bit off in the flesh, the flash makes it look bad, dome does need rubbing down and a final coat applied. Note the piping g ... |
| A question for MTA or anyone with Accucraft track |
Si, I have heard that you may have got some Accucraft track.
If possible, I would like to hear your impression of it.
I am thinking of getting some Accucraft narrow gauge 45mm track with code 250 brass rail. I am told that the code 250 track has a different profile to Peco code 250 rail. How much of a problem does the difference in profiles cause when trying to join Peco code 250 and Accucraft code 250 rail ?
Due to the fact that Accucraft do not have any turnouts available, ... |

There was a bad joint in the middle which often caught out visiting engines, which derailed on the joint, or got stuck and pulled their trains off on the corner as they passed the joint. Needless to say the bad joint was right in the middle of the tunnel and this made retriving derailed ... |
| My new Lyn Loco on the WTD&PBR |
I now installed 2 channel R/C in my new Lyn loco. So here is a video of a test run for anyone who has time to kill No glaring sun this time, I learnt my lesson from the previous video I made on a sunny December day ! I really should have had some stock standing around on sidings to give a bit more atmosphere, and make up for the lack of buildings. I must say the loco runs beatifully, and I am very pleased with the "chuff".
